Eagle Speedway hosted the SCORR Madness Open Invitational on September 27th, in Irving, New York. It was, arguably, one of the better events for SCORR as the competition level was at it's highest. An event featuring Stock, Modified and Pro-Class teams, over fourty four teams entered the event looking for a career win on the SCORR Tour for 2008.

Michael Case took home the win in a very entertaining Stock Division while Kevin Morrisey, the 2008 Modified Division Champion took home the honors in victory lane over his competitors. Tom Ferber, Tim Howard and Norm Anderson went toe to toe ... to toe. Anderson came out victorious in one of the closest finishes in SCORR History.
